FAQs

Halo Veneers FAQs

What makes Halo Veneers different?

Ultra-thin ceramics, conservative preparation, and Digital Smile Design with a 3D-printed mock-up so you can preview before fitting.

Are Halo Veneers exclusive to Aura?

Yes — Halo is our signature minimally-invasive porcelain veneer protocol available exclusively at Aura Dental Clinic.

How long do porcelain veneers last?

With good home care, routine hygiene and protection (night-guard if indicated), veneers commonly last many years.

Will they look “too white”?

We tailor shade, translucency and surface texture to your features; you preview with a printed mock-up to fine-tune brightness.

Do I need orthodontics first?

If you have moderate crowding, rotations or bite discrepancies, short orthodontics can reduce prep and improve function.

How many appointments will I need?

Typically four: consultation & scan; Digital Smile Design + 3D-printed mock-up (~4 days); minimal-prep & try-in (~2 hours); fit & finish (~2 hours).

Can I whiten teeth with veneers?

Porcelain colour does not change with whitening; we complete whitening of natural teeth before final shade selection.

What aftercare do veneers need?

Brush twice daily, clean interdentally, attend hygiene visits, avoid using teeth as tools and wear any recommended night-guard.

Are veneers reversible?

If enamel is removed, treatment isn’t fully reversible; we prioritise minimal-prep planning and mock-ups before fitting.

Am I a candidate with heavy wear or chips?

Often yes. Veneers can restore length and edge strength; we assess bite forces and parafunction to choose the right ceramic and protection.

How many veneers should I get?

Depends on smile line, symmetry and goals; some cases need 2–4, others 6–10. We plan the smallest number that achieves the result.

What’s the difference vs composite bonding?

Bonding is a chairside resin; porcelain is lab-crafted ceramic with superior stain-resistance, lifelike texture and colour stability.
